The hipbelt is harness compatible, with gear loops, side compression straps and a rope strap underneath the removable lid. Fully equipped to take on snow and ice, with Lowe Alpine's unique double HeadLocker ice axe attachment system, crampon strap, mitt-friendly winter buckles and ice screw krab slots. The moulded back system is comfortable, supportive and snow shedding with grip panels for load stability. Expandable to 50 litres, there's room for everything plus that extra protection layer. This is the pack to use when you don't want to be limited by space. The Alpine Ascent 40:50 is available in 2 sizes: Regular and Large. If you're over about 6'2" tall you'll most likely find the Large size fits you better.
